- I have studied and worked in the energy industry my entire career. After graduating from James Madison University's Integrated Science and Technology program with a concentration in Energy I worked with NCG Energy Solutions as the Senior Market Analyst. I developed sales and marketing tools for account reps that increased sales by $1.6 million in 2005. After NCG I began working for MXI Environmental working as a Chemist and as an Operator of the company's ethanol distillary. Our company takes in waste streams containing alcohol and distills it into fuel grade ethanol. In the last year I've developed an additional $2 million worth of accounts with the company, most notably being Miller Brewing Company. I am also a Research Consultant for E Source. E Source is a pay service thinktank base out of Boulder Colorado that provides independent research, advisory, and information services to utilities, major energy users, and other key players in the retail energy marketplace. Energy will be the most important industry of the 21st century and I would like to play a role in it. I want to use this blog to express and exchange ideas and information regarding the industry.
